The annual Augusta Harvest Festival in Historic Augusta, Missouri will take place Friday & Saturday, September 19th & 20th. The festival will begin on Friday with "Swingin' in the Vines" a gourmet picnic for two at Honey Bee Vineyard. Saturday will feature a Harvest Parade at 10am, pie contest, children's activities, car show, street fair, live music and MORE! The Festival is FREE to attend. Augusta, Missouri overlooks the Missouri River and was founded in 1836 by a settler that came to St. Charles County with Daniel Boone. The historic town is known for its wineries, bed and breakfasts and restaurants. The Katy Trail State Park Bike Trail has a trail head located in the town. Several annual events are hosted in the quaint historic town.
