Tuskegee Airmen - America's Freedom Flyers Exhibit Tour at the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum. Take a guided tour of this traveling exhibit that explores the inspirational history of the first Black Army Air Corp pilots with over 100 panels and artifacts. Exhibit and guided tours are FREE! Dates of the Exhibit: June 19th - November 2nd. Guided tours happen on the 1st Saturday of the month. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10am to 5pm and the exhibit can be seen without a tour guide. See website for more info.
Soldiers Memorial Military Museum and Plaza is the location of many events throughout the year. The Missouri History Museum took over the maintaining of the Soldiers Memorial and after an extensive renovation of the Museum and Plaza, the Memorial reopened in November 2018.
Directions: Located in Downtown St. Louis, bordered by Market Street to the south, Chestnut to the north, Tucker to the east and 14th to the west. Across Market Street from the St. Louis City Hall.
