Star Parties at the James S McDonnell Planetarium. Meet out on the lawn and under the stars for the Star Parties on the first Friday of each month at the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park (weather permitting). Make sure to attend the FREE 7pm Monthly Sky Lecture in the Orthwein StarBay while you are there! Public Telescope Viewing is scheduled to begin at dusk and end by 9pm. This event is FREE and open to the whole family!
The Saint Louis Science Center is located in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Visitors can enjoy "hands on" STEM learning exhibits and OMNIMAX movies. The Science Center also includes the James S. McDonnell Planetarium located across the walkway in Forest Park. The Science Center is open Thursday-Monday; closed Tuesday and Wednesday. General admission is FREE, with some special attractions requiring tickets.
