Hayrides at Fort Zumwalt Park. Enjoy a 30 minute, old-fashioned hayride through the historic Fort Zumwalt Park with a bonfire afterwards. Guests are welcome to bring food and beverages. Hayrides are on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, October 10th-27th. Hayrides are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are booked as a 20 person or 40 person "group." Fort Zumwalt Park is located in OFallon, Missouri and is the historic Zumwalts Fort site of the War of 1812. The park also features 48 acres of parkland, a fishing lake, picnic sites, a playground. The annual Christmas "Celebration of Lights" holiday light display and the Founders Day Celebration are located at Fort Zumwalt Park.
Directions: From Interstate 70, take exit #217, Highway K. Go south on Highway K and make a right on Veterans Memorial Parkway. Make a left on Jessup Lane into entrance of Fort Zumwalt Park.
