Independence Day Heritage & Freedom Fest at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex

The City of O'Fallon Missouri will celebrate Independence Day with the Heritage & Freedom Fest held at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex on Wednesday-Saturday, July 3rd-6th. Activities over the four day festival include a Carnival and Midway, children's activities in the Kid Zone, crafters and vendors, festival food and drink, live entertainment and concerts, two nights of fireworks, a parade and much more!

FREE Festival Entertainment includes Main Stage artists Bret Michaels and Mitchell Tenpenny, plus MORE!

Two fireworks displays will be held on Thursday, July 4th at 9:30pm & Friday, July 5th at 10:15. The Heritage & Freedom Fest Parade will be on the 4th at 9:30am.

Admission to the festival grounds, to the concerts and side shows, fireworks display and for parking is FREE. There is a fee for carnival rides and games, food and drink. See website for more information.

The Ozzie Smith Sports Complex is a 76-acre park that is all about baseball and softball. It features seven lighted outdoor baseball/softball fields and the T.R. Hughes Ballpark, the home of the River City Rascals, a minor league baseball team. The park is also home to the St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame.

Directions: From Interstate 70, take Exit #220 (Louisiana/Elsberry) to Highway 79. Exit Pearl Drive to left on Tom Ginnever, to left on T.R. Hughes. Sports Complex will be on the left. Or continue on Interstate 70 to Exit #219 (TR Hughes Rd/Belleau Creek) to right on T.R. Hughes Blvd. Sports Complex will be on the right.
