"The Basilica of St. Louis, King of France," more commonly known as the "Old Cathedral," is a St Louis Landmark and is the first cathedral built west of the Mississippi. The Old Cathedral Museum is located in the church and contains artifacts and relics of the early days of the Catholic Church in St. Louis and historical information. The Old Cathedral and Museum are open daily and may be toured. Church hours are Monday through Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM, Saturday 6:30AM to 6PM and Sunday 7:30AM to 6PM.
