Halloween Twilight Tours with the Mourning Society of St. Louis at the Campbell House Museum. Tour the magnificent rooms of the Campbell house in the dim light of gaslights and draped for mourning and learn about the Victorian customs of mourning. Tour times are: 6pm to 7:45pm with starting time in 15 minute increments. Each tour group is limited to 14 people. See website for more info and to purchase tickets.

The Campbell House Museum is a St. Louis Landmark. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and became a National Trust for Historic Preservation "Save America's Treasures" project in 2000. The Campbell House was the home of prominent St. Louis businessman, Robert Campbell. Built in 1851, it was occupied by Robert and Virginia Campbell and their family until their last son, Hazlett Kyle Campbell past away in 1938 at the age of 80. It now is a museum and is one of the most accurately restored 19th century buildings in America. The museum is open to the public and a guided tour can be taken for an admission fee. Special events are held there throughout the year.
