The annual Apple Butter Festival in Historic Kimmswick, Missouri will take place on Saturday & Sunday, October 26th & 27th, 10am-5pm both days. Festival goers will find the streets of Kimmswick filled with hundreds of vendor booths of crafts and food items, and apple butter, plus live entertainment. The festival is FREE to attend; some activities will require a fee to participate and vendor items will be available for purchase. See website for more information.

The quaint town of Historic Kimmswick, founded in 1859, has gone through a very vigorous renovation project and is alive and bustling with activity. It also has the distinction of being on the National Register of Historic Places. Shops, restaurants and a visitors center welcomes tourists to town. Several festivals are held annually throughout the year, such as the Strawberry Festival in June, the Apple Butter Festival in October and the Christmas Festival in December. The Kimmswick Historical Society Museum is open to the public and tours are given by reservation.
Directions: Located in Jefferson County, Missouri, Kimmswick is located off of Interstate 55, south of Interstate 270, at the Imperial/Kimmswick exit, #186. Turn left onto Imperial Main Street. Turn right at US-61/US-67. Turn left at MO-K. Turn right at 4th Street. Turn left at Market Street. Arrive at Historic Kimmswick.
