Augusta Harvest Festival in Historic Augusta Missouri

The annual Augusta Harvest Festival in Historic Augusta, Missouri will take place Friday & Saturday, September 20th & 21st. The festival will begin on Friday with "Swingin' in the Vines" a gourmet picnic for two at Honey Bee Vineyard. Saturday will start with a fun run at 9am, and features a Harvest Parade at 11:15am, pie contest, children's activities, and live music. The Festival is FREE to attend. Augusta, Missouri overlooks the Missouri River and was founded in 1836 by a settler that came to St. Charles County with Daniel Boone. The historic town is known for its wineries, bed and breakfasts and restaurants. The Katy Trail State Park Bike Trail has a trail head located in the town. Several annual events are hosted in the quaint historic town.
