Fourth of July Riverfest 2024 at Frontier Park in Historic St. Charles. This annual Independence Day celebration takes place over two days: Thursday & Friday, July 4th & 5th, and features live music, carnival rides, food and craft vendors, plus a fireworks display at 9:20pm on BOTH nights. The Riverfest Parade will take place at 10am on July 4th, beginning at Bales Park and ending on North Main Street. See website for more info. Admission is FREE!

Frontier park hosts many annual events such as the Festival of the Little Hills, Riverfest-a Fourth of July Celebration, St. Charles Oktoberfest and many more! It is also a major trailhead for the Katy Trail State Park. The area that the park covers was the location of the campsite of the Lewis and Clark Expedition when it stopped in St. Charles for several days, May 15, 1804 through May 20, 1804, and on the return trip for one day on September 21, 1806.
