Paint the Town Street Mural Art Festival in Historic Frenchtown. Dates: Saturday-Sunday, May 18th & 19th. This two day festival will feature artist painting beautiful designs onto the pavement at intersections in Frenchtown, live music, vendors, crafts and more. Admission is FREE. Historic Frenchtown is located in St. Charles, Missouri. It is roughly bounded by North Fifth Street to the west, Clark Street to the south, French Street to the North and the Missouri River to the east. It was designated as a Historic District in 1991 and is comprised of historic buildings from between 1830 and 1940. The American Car and Foundry Company building, now home to the Foundry Art Centre, was built in 1865 is located there. Historic Frenchtown has become a center for events throughout the year featuring a Mardi Gras parade, free concerts, art shows and more!
