Gateway to the Stars at the St. Louis Gateway Arch. Enjoy an evening featuring a national park related talk, star gazing through telescopes and learning about astronomy with a Gateway Arch National Park Ranger. This event is FREE and open to all ages. Dates: one Friday or Saturday per month, May-October. Some dates are outdoors. See website for more info and to register.

The Arch is located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, along the Mississippi Riverfront. The Arch, also known as the Gateway Arch, is a monument that commemorates the Western expansion of the United States and is our Nation's tallest monument. The Arch is part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial which also includes the Old Courthouse and the Museum of Westward Expansion. A visit to the Arch is not complete without riding one of the innovative trams to the top.
Directions: Located Downtown on the St. Louis riverfront, between the Eads Bridge and the Poplar Street Bridge (Highways 64/40, 70). Entrance to the Gateway Arch National Park can be had from 4th Street or Memorial Drive, between Chestnut and Market Streets. See website complete directions.
