Juneteenth Youth Baseball Tournament and Homerun Derby at St. Ferdinand Park in Florissant. Dates: Saturday & Sunday, June 21st & 22nd. Hosted by the Midwest Sharks Baseball team, this is the first Juneteenth Youth Baseball Tournament. Activities also include a homerun derby for the adults, food trucks, face painting, live DJ, and more! See website for more info.
St. Ferdinand Park is a 64 acre park. Amenities: 5 picnic pavilions with BBQ pits; 6 lighted ball fields, 2 unlit fields; 4 playgrounds; 2 sand volleyball courts, a soccer field, a tennis court; 4 pickleball courts; a fishing lake; and a Korean War Memorial. The park host events such as the Summer Concert Series "Music Under the Stars" held adjacent to the lake on Saturday evenings.
