LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Pompeii - The Exhibition at the Saint Louis Science Center. Revisit the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and destruction of Pompeii through 150 authentic artifacts and interactives. Visitors will experience a 4-D eruption experiences the brings Mount Vesuvius to life with CGI imagery, surround sound and special effects. Entry times are slotted for every 15 minutes. The Saint Louis Science Center is located in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Visitors can enjoy "hands on" STEM learning exhibits and OMNIMAX movies. The Science Center also includes the James S. McDonnell Planetarium located across the walkway in Forest Park. The Science Center is open Thursday-Monday; closed Tuesday and Wednesday. General admission is FREE, with some special attractions requiring tickets.
