Gateway Cup Cyclists Races in St Louis

The Gateway Cup is a series of cyclists races that take place in four different neighborhoods of St. Louis over the Labor Day weekend. This event begins on Friday and goes thru Labor Day Monday, August 29th - September 1st. Professionals, women, men, juniors and children races of varying lengths and skill are held on all four days. There is a fee for participants, but it is FREE for spectators. See website for ALL the details!

Race Locations for each day:

-Friday, August 29th | Tour De Lafayette: in the Lafayette Square Neighborhood around Lafayette Park

-Saturday, August 30th | Tour De Francis Park: in the St. Louis Hills Neighborhood around Francis Park

-Sunday, August 31st | Giro Della Montagna: in The Hill Neighborhood beginning and ending in front of St. Ambrose Church

-Monday, September 1st | Tour De Florissant: in historic Old Town Florissant in St. Louis County

The Gateway Cup is four days of cycling races in four different neighborhoods of the City of St. Louis over the Labor Day weekend. Each year it is traditional that the first day of races takes place in the Lafayette Square Neighborhood of St. Louis, on the streets around Lafayette Park and then in a different neighborhood each of the other 3 days. Cycling events include professional races, adult races, men and women races, juniors and children's races.
Directions: The first day of races takes place in the Lafayette Square Neighborhood. From I-44, Exit Jefferson north, to right on Chouteau. Turn right on Truman Parkway. Make a right on Park Avenue. Park on Park Avenue and walk west on Park Avenue to Lafayette Park. (See website for directions to the locations of each day of races.)
