St. Charles Salutes Veterans Day Celebration at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse. The celebration begins at 11am with a parade that starts at the Foundry Art Centre parking lot, proceeds down Historic Main Street and ends at the Boat House. The celebration continues (12-5pm) at the Boat House with live music, food, drinks and vendors with resources and products for veterans and their families. Celebration is FREE to attend. The Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum is located in Historic St. Charles near the location of the Campsite of the Lewis and Clark Expedition in Frontier Park. The Museum has displays of items used in the expedition, full size replicas of the boats used by Lewis and Clark, nature displays and a gift shop with unique items. There is an admission fee.

Museum Hours are:
Monday-Saturday | 10am-5pm
Sunday | 12pm-5pm
Closed New Years Day, Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas

Directions: From Interstate 70, take exit 229 (Fifth Street). Turn right at Boones Lick Road. Shortly after crossing over South Main Street, turn right into large parking lot. The Boat House and Nature Center is on the far side of the parking lot, next to the river.
