Bitter Conflicts at Jefferson Historic Site in Jefferson Barracks Park. Dates: Saturday & Sunday, June 15th & 16th, 9am-5pm each day. Enjoy learning about American war experiences from the American Revolution to Vietnam. Reenactors will showcase American military units spread out over the historic area of the park. Food and drink will be available for purchase from food trucks. This event is FREE! Jefferson Barracks Park is an historic site that served as an U.S. Army post from 1826 to 1946. It is host to many St. Louis County Park events in its 426 acres of parkland. The park features the St. Louis County Veterans Memorial Amphitheater, the Jefferson Barracks Museums (Old Ordnance Room, Telephone Museum, Missouri Civil War Museum, Powder Magazine Museum), The Pavilion at Lemay, many recreational facilities, a Disc Golf course, picnic sites and reservable shelters. Jefferson Barracks also has two wedding sites available.

Directions: Located in Lemay, Missouri along the Mississippi River. Take Telegraph Road/Highway 231/Kingston Drive to the S. Broadway entrance to the park. S. Broadway turns into Grant Road. Make a left on North Road to Visitors Center. The Jefferson Barracks Museums in the Old Ordnance Room and the Powder Magazine are nearby on Bagby Road.
