2024 Augusta Plein Air Art Festival

The 21st annual Augusta Plein Air Art Festival will begin on April 25th - May 4th. "Plein Air" means "outdoors" and over 100 artists will converge on Augusta, Missouri, as well Defiance and New Melle, to paint the picturesque spring settings of this region. Daily registration during the Festival will be held at the Harmonie-Verein/American Legion as well as online. The public is invited to observe (FREE!) while the artists create art! Plus enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Augusta's wineries, shops and restaurants. Augusta, Missouri overlooks the Missouri River and was founded in 1836 by a settler that came to St. Charles County with Daniel Boone. The historic town is known for its wineries, bed and breakfasts and restaurants. The Katy Trail State Park Bike Trail has a trail head located in the town. Several annual events are hosted in the quaint historic town.
