FREE Public Stargazing Every Friday Night at Broemmelsiek Park

The St. Charles County Parks Department and the Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri (ASEM) host a public stargazing every Friday night (weather permitting) after sunset at the outdoor Astronomy Site in Broemmelsiek Park. Enjoy the view of the night sky as it changes through the seasons! Bring your own telescope or gaze through one of the professionals' telescopes. All ages are welcomed. This event is FREE! Stargazing takes place outdoors year round, dress appropriately.

Broemmelsiek Park features fishing lakes, a dog area, and trails for hiking, biking and equestrian use. The park has a unique feature, an area for astronomy viewing with concrete pads equipped with electricity and hosts free weekly Friday night public star viewing sessions (weather permitting). The park hosts several events throughout the year.
Directions: Located in Wentzville, Missouri. Take Interstate 64/40 to the Highway DD and Winghaven Blvd exit. Go 4 miles west on Highway DD. Turn right on to Schwede Road. Broemmelsiek Park Astronomy Complex is less than one mile and on the right side (north side) off of Schwede.
