The annual Christmas light display - Way of Lights - at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows can be visited Friday, November 19th through Friday, December 31st. Along with driving through the holiday lights display, visitors can also enjoy a carriage or camel ride, the petting zoo, kettle corn and other refreshments, the Christmas wreath auction and quilt raffle, the Christmas Lego display and more. The Shrine restaurant and Gift Shop will be open late. Admission to the display is FREE, but donations are appreciated! Tuesday nights are Family Nights with special discounts. Activities, Shrine restaurant and Gift shop are CLOSED on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day, BUT the light display will remain open!
The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows is owned and operated by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. The shrine blends spirituality, unique architecture, and imaginative landscaping to create a serene setting. Fourteen devotional areas throughout the grounds offer visitors places for quiet reflection for all faiths and denominations. Each Christmas season, the Shrine puts on a beautiful Christmas light display called "The Way of Lights" and many other events open to the public that are held throughout the year.
The Shrine is open year-round and has a restaurant, gift shop, and motel on-site. Hours for the shrine are 6am-10pm every day. Daily masses are also offered year round at the Church of Our Lady of the Snows. There is NO admission fee to the Shrine.
