BOOterfly House at the Butterfly House in Faust Park. For the entire month of October, visitors will enjoy Halloween fun in the Creepy Crawly Cave, searching for Botanicals Gone Mad in the Conservatory, and discover spiders with the Muffet Family. The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, located in Faust Park, is an extension of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Visitors are able to walk through the Tropical Conservatory which houses more than a thousand free flight tropical butterflies of 60 species from around the world. The Conservatory is kept warm for a perfect butterfly habitat. Visitors should dress appropriately! An admission fee is charged. Hours are seasonal. (St. Louis City & County residents enjoy free admission on the first Tuesday of every month from 10am-12pm. Proof of residency is required.) Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
