Endangered Species Tour at the Endangered Wolf Center. Tour the Center with a guide and learn why the wild needs wolves. Get a chance to see a variety of species including the Mexican wolf, American Red Wolf, maned wolves, several species of foxes, African painted dogs. The 1.5 hour tour of viewing the animals in their habitats is approximately 1 mile in length. Tours are given on most Wednesdays-Mondays (Closed on Tuesdays); most dates will have multiple tour times: 9am, 11am & 1pm. See website for dates and times and to purchase tickets.

The Endangered Wolf Center is located within the Tyson Research Center in Eureka Missouri, in West St. Louis County. It was established by Dr. Marlin Perkins and his wife in 1971 for the purpose of preserving wild canid and wolf populations. It encompasses about 65 acres with 20 acres developed for the Center's facilities. The wild canid species that are at the Center are the Mexican Gray Wolf, the Red Wolf, the African Wild Dog, the Maned Wolf, the Iranian Gray Wolf, and the Swift Fox. Tours of the Center are available by reservation only but there are many events held at the center throughout the year. A fee is charged per visitor.
