St. Louis in Service Exhibit Tours at the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum. This tour explores the ongoing exhibits showcasing the stories of service members from the St. Louis area with over 300 artifacts from all major US conflicts. The exhibit and tours are FREE! Tours happen on the 1st Saturday of the month. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10am to 5pm, and the exhibits can be viewed without a tour guide. See website for more info.
Soldiers Memorial Military Museum and Plaza is the location of many events throughout the year. The Missouri History Museum took over the maintaining of the Soldiers Memorial and after an extensive renovation of the Museum and Plaza, the Memorial reopened in November 2018.
Directions: Located in Downtown St. Louis, bordered by Market Street to the south, Chestnut to the north, Tucker to the east and 14th to the west. Across Market Street from the St. Louis City Hall.
