Cinco de Mayo Festival on Cherokee Street. The Festival will take place on the six blocks of Cherokee Street that lies between Nebraska Street and Jefferson Avenue. The festival features more than 100 vendors that will have traditional Mexican street food, margaritas, desserts, hats, clothing, mechanical bull, Lucha Libre wrestling, family fun zone, face painting and more, plus two grand stages with live music and entertainment the entire day. Cherokee Street is an eclectic area of vintage stores, contemporary art galleries, antique shops and a variety of ethnic restaurants and bars. It is known for it's annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, the historic Lemp Mansion and the Casa Loma Ballroom. It has been a long-time Latin American area of the city of St. Louis.
Directions: Cherokee Street runs east-west between I-55 and Gravois. It is located in the Benton Park Neighborhood of St. Louis City, south of Arsenal Street. The business district is centered around the intersection of Cherokee Street and Jefferson Avenue.
