The 2025 Annual Wurstfest in Historic Hermann, Missouri. Dates: Friday-Sunday, March 21st-23rd. Wurstfest is one of Hermann's best-loved festivals, as well as a prestigious showcase for sausage makers from around the state. Activities include German music and dancing, sampling gourmet sausage, braunschweiger making competition (Friday), Wiener Dog Derby, Sauerkraut making class, and much more. Hermann, Missouri was established in 1837 as a German Society Settlement and has over 150 historic buildings on the National Register of Historic Places including quaint Bed & Breakfasts, inns, museums, shops, restaurants and wineries. Hermann hosts several festivals throughout the year with the two main ones being Oktoberfest and Maifest. Visit any weekend and there is usually something fun happening in Hermann! Located in Missouri Wine Country and on the Missouri Wine Trail, several historic wineries are located in Hermann: Stone Hill Winery, Hermannhof Winery and OakGlenn Winery.
Directions: Hermann is west of Downtown St. Louis. From Interstate 44, connect with Highway 100 at Exit #251 just west of Grey Summit and go north to Hermann. From Interstate 70, take Exit #175, go south on Highway 19, cross over the Missouri River to Hermann. Or take Highway 100 from Manchester Road in Wildwood, Missouri for the scenic way to Hermann.
