The 55th annual Fort de Chartres June Rendezvous will take place on Saturday & Sunday, June 7th & 8th. This event will feature shooting competitions, 1700s military drills, period music and dancing, French food, dueling swordsmen, traders of 18th century goods and more! FREE and open to the public with a special event parking price of $10 per car. See website for more information.

Fort de Chartres State Historic Site can be visited year-round. The grounds are open from sunrise to sunset. The Museum and display buildings are typically open Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm. Admission is FREE, but donations are appreciated. The Fort also holds several events throughout the year, including the Fort de Chartres Rendezvous held in June, the Fort de Chartres French & Indian War Encampment in October, and the Fort de Chartres Winter Rendezvous & Woodswalk in November.
