Enchanted Fairy Gardens at the Butterfly House in Faust Park. This Holiday season come in from the cold and discover tropical jewel-toned butterflies and elaborate fairy gardens in the Tropical Conservatory. Dates: November 29th - January 5th. Hours: 10am - 4pm. Included with the regular admission to the Butterfly House. See website for more information.

The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, located in Faust Park, is an extension of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Visitors are able to walk through the Tropical Conservatory which houses more than a thousand free flight tropical butterflies of 60 species from around the world. The Conservatory is kept warm for a perfect butterfly habitat. Visitors should dress appropriately! An admission fee is charged. Hours are seasonal. (St. Louis City & County residents enjoy free admission on the first Tuesday of every month the first two hours of operation. Proof of residency is required.) Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
