The annual Christkindlmarkt, the German Christmas Market in Belleville is centered around the Downtown Square and is open select days beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 29th through Monday, December 23rd. Admission is FREE and features live entertainment and demonstrations, live reindeer, German food vendors, European retail vendors, family photo ops, Santa and more! Directions: From Downtown St. Louis, take I-64 east. Continue on I-64 in Illinois, take Exit #3 to merge onto I-64 toward Louisville. Take Exit #12 for IL-159/Illinois Street and go south toward Belleville/Collinsville. The Belleville Downtown Square is located at the intersection of Main Street and Illinois Street (IL-159) in Belleville.
