Community Days at The Historic Daniel Boone Home

Date: Jun 12, 2025 | Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Community Days at The Historic Daniel Boone Home. On every second Thursday of the month, May-November, tour The Historic Daniel Boone Home for FREE! Tours are open-house format and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Docents will be available to answer questions and all levels of the Home will be open to explore. Stay and tour the Historic Village as well (always FREE). The Boone Home sits on nearly 300 acres and overlooks the village, a simulated town comprised of more than a dozen 19th century buildings. Each building originated from within 50 miles of the property. Buildings such as the general store, school house and grist mill offer a peek into life on the Missouri frontier. See website for more info.

The Historic Daniel Boone Home is a four-story stone structure built between 1804 and 1810 in the Femme Osage Valley of St. Charles County. The adjoining Boonesfield Village is a gathered collection of historic Missouri buildings representing the early 19th century that have been reconstructed to form a living-history village.
