OPENING DAY! MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND! Summer Swimming at the Kennedy Recreation Center. The Kennedy Recreation Center has an Olympic-sized pool, plus a small "baby" pool. The pool is open daily, Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 25th - Labor Day, Monday, September 2nd, 12pm-6pm. (Days open will change in August when school open) A daily admission fee is charged or a Season Pass can be purchased. The Kennedy Recreation Complex is located in South St. Louis County and features the public Quail Creek Golf Course, picnic sites, an outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool, an indoor ice skating rink (seasonal), lighted tennis courts, and a playground. On the off-season, the skating arena will host special events.
Directions: From Interstate 270, take Exit #2 and go west on Tesson Ferry Road (Highway 21) 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Wells Road and go just under a mile to the entrance of Kennedy Recreation Complex on the left. From Interstate 55, take Exit #193 and go west on Meramec Bottom Road for just over a mile and turn right onto Wells Road. Go just under a mile to the entrance to the Complex on right.
