B.A.R.K. Ranger Events at the St. Louis Gateway Arch. Enjoy special events with your B.A.R.K. Ranger pup on the 3rd Sunday of the month, April-October. Events feature walks with Gateway Arch rangers, paw art, picnics, safety training, Halloween costume parade and more. Each event is FREE for you and your furry friend. The Arch is located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, along the Mississippi Riverfront. The Arch, also known as the Gateway Arch, is a monument that commemorates the Western expansion of the United States and is our Nation's tallest monument. The Arch is part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial which also includes the Old Courthouse and the Museum of Westward Expansion. A visit to the Arch is not complete without riding one of the innovative trams to the top.
Directions: Located Downtown on the St. Louis riverfront, between the Eads Bridge and the Poplar Street Bridge (Highways 64/40, 70). Due to ongoing construction on the Arch Grounds, check the Arch website for current directions.
