The 39th annual Belleville Oktoberfest takes place on Main Street and the surrounding streets around the Square in Downtown Belleville, Illinois. Dates: Friday and Saturday, September 20th & 21st. This two day, family friendly, outdoor German Fall Festival includes a Children's Area, Steinstretch Steinholding Contest, a Wiener Dog Race and Costume contest, a Cornhole Tournament, a Pub Crawl, live entertainment on three stages, Car Show, authentic German cuisine, other food, beverage and German Beer vendors and MORE! Belleville's Downtown Square is the focal point of the city. This location is home to most festivals, parades, and concerts that occur throughout the year. The square also features the Veterans Memorial Monument that honors American soldiers that died in the major wars of the 20th century.
Directions: From Downtown St. Louis, take I-64 east. Continue on I-64 in Illinois, take Exit #3 to merge onto I-64 toward Louisville. Take Exit #12 for IL-159/Illinois Street and go south toward Belleville/Collinsville. The Belleville Downtown Square is located at the intersection of Main Street and Illinois Street (IL-159) in Belleville.
