Concerts in the Park at Carondelet Park. Enjoy FREE outdoor concerts in beautiful Carondelet Park which are part of the Annual Concerts in the Park Series sponsored by the Carondelet Community Betterment Federation. These FREE concerts are on every Sunday night, beginning June 2nd and running through August 18th. Each week features a different band and other activities such as craft fairs and children's book reading. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket. Carondelet Park is located in south St. Louis City, near the Carondelet and Boulevard Heights Neighborhoods. At 181 acres, it is a one of the larger parks in the City of St. Louis. Some of the recreation facilities at the park includes two fishing lakes, one with a boathouse and dock; athletic fields for baseball, softball and soccer; tennis courts, picnic shelters, playgrounds, walking trails, plus the Carondelet YMCA and the historic Lyle Mansion.
Directions: From Interstate 55, take Exit #202C/Loughborough Avenue, and go west on Loughborough Avenue. The park entrance(s) will be on the right.
