CANCELED JULY 3RD & 4TH! DATE CHANGE TO AUGUST 30TH & 31ST DUE TO FLOODING-Riverfest 2019 at Frontier Park in Historic St. Charles. This annual Independence Day celebration will take place over two days, FRIDAY & SATURDAY AUGUST 30th & 31st, 2019 this year because of the Missouri River flooding. The Festival features live music and entertainment on the Jaycee Stage, carnival rides, food and craft vendors on both days. Enjoy the fireworks display at 9:20pm, on AUGUST 31st. Admission is FREE! **The Fourth of July Parade will still be held on July 4th.** See website for additional information.

Frontier park hosts many annual events such as the Festival of the Little Hills, a Fourth of July Celebration, St. Charles Oktoberfest, the Lewis & Clark Heritage Days Festival, Missouri Irishfest and many more! It is also a major trailhead for the Katy Trail State Park. The area that the park covers was the location of the campsite of the Lewis and Clark Expedition when it stopped in St. Charles for several days, May 15, 1804 through May 20, 1804, and on the return trip for one day on September 21, 1806.
