Candlelight Christmas Walk in Historic Augusta

The 36th annual Candlelight Christmas Walk in Historic Augusta, Missouri allows visitors to experience a "Norman Rockwell-feeling Christmas" with over 1000 luminaries glowing on the historic streets of Augusta. Holiday shopping, Christmas caroling, a bonfire in the town square, roasted chestnuts, photos with Santa, horse drawn carriage rides and more! Restaurants, wineries and shops will be open late for this FREE event. Dates are Fridays, December 7th & 14th. See website for more details.

Augusta, Missouri overlooks the Missouri River and was founded in 1836 by a settler that came to St. Charles County with Daniel Boone. The historic town is known for its wineries, bed and breakfasts and restaurants. The Katy Trail State Park Bike Trail has a trail head located in the town. Several annual events are hosted in the quaint historic town.
