Sitting on the Porch Thursday Jam Sessions at the National Blues Museum. These events happen (most) Thursday nights at the Museum where musicians just show up and jam. Sometimes there is a special Jam which is held at a local restaurant. All are FREE to attend or to perform. Check website for more information and for locations.

The National Blues Museum opened its doors to the public on April 1, 2016. The museum celebrates and explores "the blues" musical genre as the foundation of all modern music with artifact exhibits, a state-of-the-art theater, and high impact technology. An admission fee for the museum is charged. Special events are also held throughout the year.
