The Shakespeare Festival St. Louis presents "Shakespeare in the Park - Romeo and Juliet" which will be performed in Shakespeare Glen located in Forest Park, near the Saint Louis Art Museum. Performances take place nightly June 1st through the 24th (except on Tuesdays) at 8pm. The "Greenshow" starts at 6:30pm. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. Shakespeare in the Park is an annual production of a Shakespearean play, produced and performed by Shakespeare Festival St. Louis. The performances take place over several weeks beginning in the end of May and continuing for a few weeks in June. The productions are held in the outdoor Shakespeare Glen that is located in Forest Park near the St. Louis Art Museum. Admission to the plays are free and are a highlight of the summer in St. Louis.
