Summer Buggin' Nights at the Butterfly House in Faust Park, every Friday night, July 6th through August 31st. Experience the Butterfly House after hours by joining the Entomologists to hunt for bugs and fireflies, plus listen to music, and food and beverage will be available for purchase. Admission: free for Garden Members; included with the regular Butterfly House admission for General Public. See website for more information.

The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, located in Faust Park, is an extension of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Visitors are able to walk through the Butterfly Conservatory which houses more than a thousand free flight tropical butterflies of 60 species from around the world and watch a new butterfly emerge from one of hundreds of chrysalises! The Conservatory is kept warm for a perfect butterfly habitat. Visitors should dress appropriately! An admission fee is charged. Children 3 and under are free. Educational classes and events are available throughout the year. Butterfly House hours are 9am-4pm, Tuesday through Saturday. (FREE on the first Tuesday of every month, between 10am - 12pm, for St. Louis County and City residents with proof of residency.)
