Riverfest 2018 Independence Day Parade in Historic St. Charles

The Riverfest 2018 Independence Day Parade will begin at 10am at Bales Park. The route begins on N. Main Street and ends on Riverside Dr. After the parade, head over to Frontier Park to Riverfest 2018.

This annual Independence Day celebration takes place over two days and features live music and entertainment on the Jaycee Stage, carnival rides, food and craft vendors, plus a fireworks display at 9:20pm on Wednesday July 4th. Frontier park hosts many annual events such as the Festival of the Little Hills, a Fourth of July Celebration, St. Charles Oktoberfest, the Lewis & Clark Heritage Days Festival, Missouri Irishfest and many more! It is also a major trailhead for the Katy Trail State Park. The area that the park covers was the location of the campsite of the Lewis and Clark Expedition when it stopped in St. Charles for several days, May 15, 1804 through May 20, 1804, and on the return trip for one day on September 21, 1806.
Directions: Located along the Missouri River in Historic St. Charles. Accessible from Interstate 70 by going north on 5th Street to east (right) on Boone's Lick Road, to left on Riverside Drive.
