Great Green Adventures: Missouri Native Shade Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden will encourage children to learn about the plants in Missouri woods and to protect native ecosystems.

The Great Green Adventures take place in the Doris I. Schnuck Children's Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden. They are nature themed events designed for children ages 6-12 that happen once a month throughout the year. Visitors may choose one of the two time slots: 10:30-11:30am or 1:30-2:30pm. No registration is needed. Free for Garden members; $3 per child with Garden Admission for non-members. See website for more information.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is located in the Shaw Neighborhood of St. Louis Missouri, and adjacent to Tower Grove Park. The Garden hosts many special events throughout the year, such as festivals, plant shows and art exhibits.
Directions: Located on Shaw Blvd, between Tower Grove Avenue and Alfred Avenue. Take Interstate 44 to the Vandeventer exit and go east on Shaw Avenue, or to the Grand Blvd exit and go west on Shaw Avenue.
