The 1875 Show at the Missouri History Museum

"The 1875 Show" will be performed throughout the Missouri History Museum. This theatrical presentation is part of the Theater in the Museum Series and will focus on the life of Lucy Delaney, a free African American woman who won her freedom in a lawsuit just prior to Dred Scott's and lived and worked in St. Louis in 1875. Visit the "A Walk in 1875 St. Louis" exhibit before or after the performance. This event is FREE!

The Missouri History Museum is located in Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The Museum has several continuing exhibits that feature the 1904 World's Fair, the past history of St. Louis and a Charles A. Lindbergh display. Special exhibits change many times throughout the year. Special events, such as concerts, theatre, and lectures, are also held at the museum.
