Walking Tours of Downtown St. Louis. Take a walking tour of downtown St. Louis and learn about the fascinating 250+ year history of the city and about some of the groundbreaking architecture located there. Tours are held every Saturday, at 9:30am, April 5th through October 25th. Experienced tour guides, volunteers from Landmarks Association of St. Louis, will share remarkable stories about Downtown St. Louis.
The East Tour - features the architectural legacy of the heart of the city. Highlights of the tour include the Old Courthouse, Old Cathedral, Gateway Arch, Eads Bridge, Old Post Office, Wainwright Building and more.
West Tour - features St. Louis' public buildings. Highlights of the tour include Union Station, Stifel Theatre, City Hall, Central Library, Campbell House Museum, and Soldiers Memorial.
The East Tour and West Tour alternate every other Saturday. All tours start at 9:30am and run between 2 - 2 1/2 hours long and cover about 2 miles. Each tour is $15 per adult, 12 and under are free. Tickets are purchased online and limited to 15 guests. Exact starting point for each tour is discovered once tickets are purchased. See website for complete details of each tour.
