Balloon Glow & Rodeo at Brookdale Farms. Dates: Friday & Saturday, August 1st & 2nd; gates open at 6pm, rodeo at 7:30pm, balloon glow at 9pm each day. Fun family activities at this two day event include inflatables for the kids, outdoor concert, farm animals to visit, food and beverage vendors, tethered rides in the balloons, and of course the Balloon Glow! Brookdale Farms is a 300 acre event venue that hosts private events such as family reunions, weddings, holiday parties, public events such as the annual Balloon Glow, AAA Summer Camp, and the Bridal Show. They also offer daily activities like float trips on the Meramec River, carriage rides, one-of-a-kind sunflower maze, fall attractions such as the largest Corn Maze, hayrides, pumpkin patch, and so much more!
Directions: From St. Louis: Take I-44 west to Exit 264/Highway 109 South. In 2 miles, take a left onto State Rd W, in 1 mile turn left onto Twin River Road, in 1/2 mile, turn left onto Jim Weber Road. The entrance to Brookdale Farms is off of Jim Weber Road on Patience Lane.
