Open House at the Historic Thornhill in Faust Park

An Open House weekend at the historic Thornhill, the home of Frederick Bates, Missouri's second governor, located in Faust Park. Visitors will enjoy touring Governor Bates' home, the smokehouse, ice house, family cemetery, two 19th century barns, blacksmith shop and more. FREE and open to the public. Faust Park features the Missouri Botanical Garden's Butterfly House, Faust Historical Village, the Thornhill Mansion and the 1920 St. Louis Carousel. It is located in West St. Louis County in Chesterfield, Missouri and hosts a summer concert series, fall hayrides, holiday events and historical reenactment events in the Historic Village.
