Eagle Ice Festival at the Audubon Center at Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy FREE educational eagle activities, Build a Bald Eagle's Nest, create tree cookies crafts, test your eagle skills at the Wheel of Knowledge, Meet Eric the Eagle, take a self-guided walk to learning stations on the trails. Some activities require registration and charge a fee.
-Raptor Meet & Greet: Visitors will be able to get up-close and personal with a live raptor, presented by TreeHouse Wildlife Center | Sessions: 10am, 11am, 1pm & 2pm.
-Guided Bird Hikes: Join a guided walk to see Trumpeter Swans, Bald Eagles and other waterfowl around the Bird Sanctuary. Bring your own binoculars! | Sessions: 10am, 11am & 1pm
-S'mores: after your walk, warm up around a campfire and enjoy s'mores!

The Audubon Center at Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary is located in West Alton, MO. The Sanctuary is designated as an Important Bird Area by the Audubon Society. It encompasses a total of 3700 acres with over 8.5 miles of trails that wind through prairies, marshes, bottomland forest habitats and feature viewing platforms and bird blinds that give excellent viewing of a variety of birds and other wildlife. The Audubon Center gives a 140 degree view of wildlife through its large windows and high-powered scopes. It hosts many special events throughout the year.
The Audubon Center is open seven days a week from 8am-4pm except Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years Day. The Sanctuary is open 24 hours a day. Admission is FREE!
