Mardi Gras - Tito's Vodka Wiener Dog Derby in Soulard Market Park

The 2025 St. Louis Mardi Gras presents the "Tito's Vodka Wiener Dog Derby" to be held at the Soulard Market Park. Opening ceremonies begin at 1:45pm and the First Heat begins at 2pm. FREE for spectators. Register the day of the event beginning at 10am.

Come early for the Purina Pet parade at 1pm. After the Derby, enjoy the Taste of Soulard going on at various eateries in the Historic Soulard Neighborhood.

The Mardi Gras season begins on January 6th with the 12th Night Celebration and ends with the Grand Parade on Saturday, March 1st.

Soulard Market Park is a large 2 acre green space located to the south of Soulard Farmers Market. It features a playground, a bandstand, a plaza and is used for many events such as cultural events, art fairs, recreation and Mardi Gras events.
