Mardi Gras - 5K Run For Your Beads in the Historic Soulard Neighborhood

The 2025 St. Louis Mardi Gras presents the 5K Run For Your Beads in the Historic Soulard Neighborhood. Wear your best Mardi Gras costume and race through Soulard with pit stops along the way featuring complimentary beer and Hurricanes (21 and older!). Prizes will be awarded for best costume and winners in each division. After the race, stay for the Taste of Soulard, a self-guided tasting and pub crawl.

The Mardi Gras season begins on January 6th with the 12th Night Celebration and ends with the Grand Parade on Saturday, March 1st.

Soulard Market Park is a large 2 acre green space located to the south of Soulard Farmers Market. It features a playground, a bandstand, a plaza and is used for many events such as cultural events, art fairs, recreation and Mardi Gras events.
