Lafayette Park is surrounded by the Lafayette Square Neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. It is the oldest public city park west of the Mississippi and was one of the largest at the time it was dedicated in 1851. Its thirty acres feature several historic structures, monuments and statues, a one acre lake, a picnic pavilion, a music band stand. The park hosts several community events throughout the year.

Lafayette Park is a square and is bordered by Lafayette Avenue to the south, Missouri Avenue to the west, Park Avenue to the north and Mississippi Avenue to the east.

From Interstate 44, take the Jefferson Avenue exit and go north. Turn right/east onto Lafayette Avenue and go 2 blocks. Lafayette Park is located at the corner of Missouri Avenue and Lafayette Avenue.

From Interstate 64/40, take Jefferson Avenue exit and go south. Turn left/east onto Park Avenue and go 2 blocks. Lafayette Park is located at the corner of Missouri Avenue and Lafayette Avenue.
