Spring Fling at the Butterfly House in Faust Park happens every Saturday and Sunday in April and May. Event features activities that highlight pollinators and native plants during the Spring season. Admission is included with the regular Butterfly House admission fee.

The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, located in Faust Park, is an extension of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Visitors are able to walk through the Butterfly Conservatory which houses more than a thousand free flight tropical butterflies of 60 species from around the world and watch a new butterfly emerge from one of hundreds of chrysalises! The Conservatory is kept warm for a perfect butterfly habitat. Visitors should dress appropriately! An admission fee is charged. Children 3 and under are free. Educational classes and events are available throughout the year. Butterfly House hours are 9am-4pm, Tuesday through Saturday. (FREE on the first Tuesday of every month, between 10am - 12pm, for St. Louis County and City residents with proof of residency.)
Directions: Located in Faust Park, on Olive Blvd, about a mile north of Interstate 64/40 or about 1/2 mile south of Ladue Road, in Chesterfield, Missouri.
