The City of O'Fallon Missouri will celebrate Independence Day with the Heritage and Freedom Fest held at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex on Sunday, July 2nd (Family Night) through Tuesday, July 4th. Activities over the three day festival include musical entertainment, a Carnival and Midway, a parade on the 4th, free children's activities in the Kid Zone, and much more.
A fireworks display will be on the 3rd at 10:15pm and on the 4th at 9:30pm.
The parade will be on the 4th beginning at 9:30am and will start on Main at Third Street, then turning east on Tom Ginnever Ave and ending at T.R. Hughes at about 11-11:30am. The festival opens after the parade at noon.
Entertainment features free concerts on the main stage. July 3rd artists are Eric Paslay, Whiskey Morning Gillam Family Illusions, and the USAF Band of Mid-America Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble; and on July 4th Creedence Clearwater Revisted, World Classic Rockers, Legends Undercover, and Gillam Family Illusions. Plus there will be other side shows as well.
Admission to the festival grounds, to the concerts and side shows, and for parking is FREE. There is a fee for carnival rides and games, food and drink. See website for more information.
